இந்த தபா நேரம் கிடைத்தால் பதிவுகளை மொத்தமாகப் படிக்க எண்ணம். இன்னும் துவங்கவில்லை. படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தால், உள்ளே இருக்கும் மிருகம் எட்டிப் பார்க்கலாம் :-D

regarding dhal: My wife got an early alert from her ex-neighbors. She went ahead and took a tour around all the nearby Indian stores. Lowell has a couple, Westford, Nashua etc and stocked up around 20 pounds of Thoor dhal & Moong Dhal.

We make gravy 'koottu' with Moong dhal and Thuvaram paruppu is must-must for Sambar & Rasam. Not sure for how many days we can have this luxury. What used to be 4.99 has jumped to 20 dollars and there is a limit imposed on each person.

I am inquisitive to know the biometric verifications that is going on inside the store. They need to have advanced foolproof authentications. Credit card cannot be repeated, household persons cannot revisit, state resident checks initiated, so on.

The merchants want to make quick bucks and the buyers really don't care about price gouging. They can afford it. It is still a necessity for them and not a luxury purchase.

I am even planning to visit New York/NJ and Toronto if things become harsh in the winter. If the ban continues past the March, then I might get season tickets for Montreal/Toronto/London... whatever it takes to get the Dhal (read bacon) home.
