ஃபயர்ஃபாக்ஸ் உதவி
நெருப்புநரியில் எந்த யூனிகோட் பக்கம் சென்றாலும் எனக்கு மேற்கண்டவாறுதான் தெரிகிறது. இதை நிவர்த்தி செய்ய ஆலோசனைகள் சொல்லவும். தீர்த்து வைப்பவர்களுக்கு மைக்ரோசாஃப்ட்டின் எரிச்சல் கிடைக்கும். என்னுடைய மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளும்.
என்னுடைய செட்டிங்ஸ்:

View --> Character Encoding --> Auto Detect --> Off என்று எல்லாம் போட்டு பார்த்தேன். Always Use My Fonts - On / Off செய்து பார்த்தேன். எதற்கும் சரிப்படாமல் விநோதமாகவேத் தெரிகிறது.
தொழில்நுட்பம் முழுவதும் தெரிந்திருப்பது நல்லது. ஒன்றும் தெரியாவிட்டால் டபுள் ஒகே. என்னை மாதிரி கொஞ்சம் தெரிந்தால் வினைதான். உதவ வேண்டுகிறேன்.
இண்டர்நெட் எக்ஸ்ப்ளோரரில் தமிழோவியம், திசைகள், மரத்தடி போன்ற அனைத்து யூனிகோட் பக்கங்களும் அழகாகத் தெரிகிறது. ஃபயர்ஃபாக்ஸின் மூலம் விசிட் அடித்தால், எல்லா பதிவுகளும் புத்தம் புதிய தமிழில் கண்ணைக் கெடுக்கின்றன.
அடுத்த வருடம் வரை இனி எனக்கு விடுமுறை. சில பழைய நண்பர்கள் (காசி) சந்திப்பு, விருந்துகள் என்று வீட்டிலேயே கழிக்க எண்ணம். அனைவருக்கும் இனிய போஷாக்கான புத்தாண்டாக அமைய எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவனை வேண்டுகிறேன்.
அப்புறம், ஊரே அல்லோலகல்லப்படுகிறது. ஞாயிறு, ஜனவரி, 2, 2005 - Ash on 60 Minutes என்று. அறுபது நிமிடங்கள் என்று சொல்லி நாற்பது நிமிடம் ஒளிபரப்பாகும் செய்தித் தொகுப்பொன்றில் ஐந்து நிமிடம் ஐஷ்வர்யா செவ்விக்கப் போகிறார்.
இவங்களுக்கு வேற வேலையே கிடையாது என்பது போல், பிபிசியில் அடுத்த தேர்தலை தொடங்கி விட்டார்கள். யாருக்கு ஏன் ஓட்டுப் போடம் மாட்டேன் என்று சொல்வதை விட, பல தெரியாத முகங்களை அறிந்து கொண்டேன்.

Video Search போன்றவற்றின் தொழில்நுட்பங்களையும் சொல்கிறார்கள். கலைஞர் கைது, ம.கோ.ரா. அமரர் ஊர்வலம் (டிச. 24 நினைவு நாள்) என்று தேடிப் பார்த்தேன். எதுவும் மாட்டவில்லை. உங்களுக்கு வேண்டியதைத் தேடிட்டு சொல்லுங்க.
Baazee.com விவகாரம் சூடாக இருக்கும்போதே, அமெரிக்காவில் செல்பேசிகளில் நீலப்படங்கள் குறித்த நிலைப்பாட்டையும் அறிந்து கொள்ளலாம். இப்போதைக்கு இலை மறை காய் ஒகேவாம். ஆனாலும், 40% இணையத் தேடல்கள் செக்ஸ் சம்பந்தமானவை என்பது நமது அறிவின் தாகத்தை எடுத்துறைக்கிறது.

View -> Character Encoding -> Western (ISO-****-*)
You might be able to view some more Tamil web pages. (ex: Thennai)
I am supposing that you also tried adjusting the
Tools -> Options -> Fonts
You might want to download a unicode Tamil font such as Avrangal!!.
I am able to view most of the Unicode pages. But, unable to view Tamil pages using their own font even when I have installed the fonts on the system, and able to view those pages with Avant browser.

போய் பில்கேட்ஸ் தகடு ஒண்ணை nthமுறையாக இடுக்கில் வீசி கணினியை எழுத்துக்கூட்டிப் படிக்கச் சொல்லுங்க. சரியாப்போவும்.

TheneeUniTx is a fixed width font. Without going into details of what it is, simply put, don't use it in a browser setting.
(To test what a fixed width font will do, copy and paste some TSCII/Unicode text into notepad and print and see)
Use Latha for both Tamil and Unicode.(Unless you are obsessed with the fonts you currently setup :) )

அப்புறம், ஊரே அல்லோலகல்லப்படுகிறது. ஞாயிறு, ஜனவரி, 2, 2005 - Ash on 60 Minutes என்று. அறுபது நிமிடங்கள்பல வருடங்களுக்கு (12-15?) முன்பு இதே 60 நிமிட நிகழ்ச்சியில் அமிதாப் பச்சன் மற்றும் சில இந்தி நடிக(கை)யர் ஒரு தடவை பங்கேற்றனர்.அமிதாப் ன் ஆங்கிலம் தெளிவாக இருந்ததாக ஞாபகம்.வடவிந்திய ஆங்கிலத்திலிருக்கும் பிகாஜு,பிஜுனஜ்,கஞ்சுமர் (consumer) போன்ற சொற்கள் இல்லாமலிருந்தது.

நற்கீரன் சொன்ன settings எக்ஸ்ப்ளோரரில் வேலை செய்கிறது.
கண்டுபிடிச்சிட்டீங்களா காசி... நெருப்புநரியால் மைக்ரோசாஃப்ட் கதி கலங்கியிருப்பது உண்மைதான் ;-) இண்டிக் மொழிகளைத் தேர்வு செய்து பார்க்கிறேன். நன்றி.
ரோஸா, உங்களின் பதிவை பார்த்தபின்புதான், நீண்ட நாட்களாக என்னைப் படுத்தி வரும் இந்தக் கேள்வியை நானும் கேட்கும் எண்ணம் தோன்றியது.
வாசன், ஐஷ்வர்யாவுக்கு அடுத்து டெண்டுல்கர் அல்லது ஷாருக் தோன்றுவதற்கு இன்னும் எத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் அமெரிக்கர்கள் காத்திருக்க வேண்டுமோ?!

Hello E-Tamil and Gang
This font problem is bothering me too. I am able to visit all the tamil blogs fine on Internet Explorer. But I dont want to use IE.
I use firefox for 98% of my browsing and it does fairly well except tamil font blogs. I could not follow the directions posted by others for this topic.
Can some body explain in a step by step process please?
My questions.
1. Do I need to install any other tamil fonts? For example I can read vikatan fine on the Fire Fox browser without any problem. I do have to set the character encoding to ISO 8859-1 to view though.
2. I have tried setting the View -> Character Encoding to Western ISO 8859-1 which displays vikatan fine but none of these blogs.
Any help is appreciated.

Murasu Anjal and Firefox don't seem to work together.
If you are using Murasu Anjal, Close it and check the website again in firefox.

This shd make it work:
Start... Control Panel... Regional & Language Options
Languages tab (second one)
Install files for Complex Script & right to left
languages (incl Thai) - CHECK
Once you select that option and OK, it will ask for
install disks. That should work!

Greetings. I happened to visit your blog where you
had posted problem viewing blogs with firefox but fine
with Internet Explorer.
I am facing the same problem too. Did you figure out
how to view tamil characters correctly for blogs in
firefox?
If you do I would appreciate if you can let me know.
I tried changing the fonts via the View->char.
encoding-> and choosing different fonts. That didnt
help.
I also installed ekalappai which inistalls Avrangal
font and tried using that and Latha font. still no
luck.
